Why We Open on Saturday
Plenty of our patients work shifts that make a weekday appointment mean losing pay. Parents have children in school Monday to Friday. Saturday removes that problem for both. It is also the day a toothache that started midweek finally becomes impossible to ignore.
The Saturday clinic is a full clinic, not a skeleton crew. Examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions and emergency visits all run as they do on any other day.
Booking a Saturday Appointment
Saturday is a short day — four hours — so the slots go before the rest of the week does. Two things help:
- Call ahead if you can. Ringing Thursday or Friday for the coming Saturday usually gets you a time you actually want.
- Walk in if you cannot. We do take walk-ins. On a Saturday you may wait, and if the day is already full we will book you the soonest weekday slot rather than leave you sitting.
If you are in pain, say so when you call. Pain gets triaged ahead of routine work.
Saturday Emergencies
A cracked tooth, a lost filling, swelling or a toothache that kept you up does not wait for Monday. We hold same-day emergency appointments, Saturdays included. What we can finish in one visit depends on what we find — sometimes it is done that day, sometimes the first visit is about stopping the pain and controlling infection, with the repair booked after. We will tell you which it is before we start.

Insurance and Medicaid on a Saturday
Saturday works the same as any other day. We accept Medicaid, Healthy Kids Dental and most major dental insurance. Bring your card and we check your coverage before treatment starts, so you know what is covered before you agree to anything. See our Medicaid page for what that covers.

Are you open Sunday?
No. We are closed Sundays. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday we are open until 6:00pm, which is the next best option if evenings suit you better.

Yes. We are a family practice and see children and adults on the same day, which is usually the whole point of a Saturday visit.
